Project Description
The Manchester Priority 1 Project represents the first phase of the long-term facilities plan for the Manchester School District. Approved by the City in November 2023, this phase includes the revitalization of the Beech Elementary School, renovations and additions to four middle schools, and the installation of modular classrooms across six school sites. Design work began in early 2024, and while the construction timelines for each school will vary, all middle schools and the Beech Elementary School are slated to be completed by the summer or fall of 2028. The modular temporary buildings were completed in the summer of 2024 to provide crucial space for the growing student population, including accommodating fifth graders transitioning from Wilson School, which was closed as part of the Priority One phase of work.
